Hot Right Now: Disease prevention

So some of us are going to places where we can contract somewhat dangerous diseases in the near future.

Which means to protect oneself from such diseases… needles, vaccinations, immunisation!!! (Dum, dum, dummmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!)

We don’t know many people who aren’t scared of needles on some level, even though we know they really aren’t that bad.

We all know that the pain is momentary and the benefits definitely outweigh that nervous sweat attack we get when we see the little spurt of vaccine come out of the top of the needle, or the tiny sting we feel when we get the jab, or the fact that we can’t lift a pencil because we’re in so much painnnnnnnnn for the hours after!!!!

But they’re necessary and responsible and we’re extremely privileged to have the availability of such vaccines in this country and not have to worry about the diseases they protect us from, in our daily lives. So many people around the world aren’t so lucky. So we're not even going to complain about how much they cost.

It is hot right now being immune to disease, so next time you go abroad, don't be an ignorant prick, get a prick!
