Not Right Now: Name Dropping

Facebook provides me with an endless reel of bullshit that I adore bringing to the attention of our followers. We did touch on this during our previous post PR Facebooking but I feel this point in particular needs to be explored further.

The Urban dictionary (Academic huh?) defines the term Try Hard, which I find in this instance very appropriate, as: "A person who puts a large amount of effort into achieving a certain image, or counter-image, to the point where it is obviously contrived". This douche bore would be if they could be personifies this.

Trying to glorify your irrelevance by @mentioning D-listers in a post that really shouldn't have been made is a big no. It looks pitiful. Is anyone @mentioning you back? NO! Why, because they unlike name droppers, have a degree of social docorum. Get the hint because coat tail riding earns Name Droppers no kudo's. No one cares.

Name Droppers are so not right now it's insane. I really should hit less about Name Dropping folk, but they give me so much to laugh about it's worth seeing these grasps for something which to them looks like some sort of relevance.

While Name Droppers continue to attempt to socially climb on facebook, I hope someone drops the belay rope.

Not right now, not today, yesterday, tomorrow, or anytime in the forseeable future Name Droppers. Get a clue.

Not Right Now: PR Facebooking

Aren't you just sick of people who put absolute shit all over your wall is your feed is infested with crap you don't ever nor will ever care about? Happens to me all the time.


A certain 'would be if you could be' (or 3 rather) have posted on the social networking site initiatives in which they require support, and all of these randoms jump on showing messages of affection, and 9 times out of 10 its when you know that they don't like the person. Why do people feel the need to do this? Vomit. We all know you feel contrary so why do you INSIST on keeping up appearances? I'll never know. Anyway, I digress...




Sustainable shots at fame will NOT fall into your lap, or be handed to you by some competition, so for god sake, have a talent or sit down and get a job.
